Practical planning tips for Madrid, Spain

Book accommodation and confirmed tickets early, especially for arena weekends and sold-out performances. Check the venue’s official event page again on the day because door times and support schedules can change. Use Madrid Metro and buses for central venues, and leave extra time for security queues at major arenas. October can shift from warm daytime sunshine to cooler evenings, so bring layers and a light rainproof outer layer. Plan to arrive before the listed start time, particularly when a venue has a published doors-open time. Keep identification and any required adult accompaniment arrangements ready before travelling to the venue.
