Līgatne Town Festival “CaurVēju Līgatnē” - Līgatne, Cēsis Municipality, May 30, 2026

The Līgatne Town Festival “CaurVēju Līgatnē” will take place in Līgatne on May 30, 2026. The main venue for the celebration is the Līgatne town open-air stage and its surroundings. Throughout the day, the town will be lively with activities for families and children, a craft and home-producer market, as well as various activities and meetups. The festival morning will begin with a fishing competition at Līgatne Centre Lake, followed later by a wake-up event and morning exercise. A children’s run is planned, and at midday there will be a concert by children, young people, and amateur collectives. Toward evening, the festive atmosphere will turn into concerts featuring the “Sigulda” wind orchestra and several bands. The music program will continue with “Skvirl’Boizz” and “100. debija”, while Dj Zigy will provide the rhythm at the end of the night. Alongside the concerts, visitors can attend an exhibition at the Līgatne Culture House during the festival day. The daytime program is free of charge, while admission to the evening concerts from 19:00 is paid.

  • 09:30 - Children’s run “Catch the Wind”, by Līgatne Centre Lake. Free.
  • 11:00 - Concert by children, young people, and amateur collectives, Līgatne town open-air stage. Free.
  • 19:00 - Concert by the “Sigulda” wind orchestra, Līgatne town open-air stage. Admission 7 EUR (free admission for children up to 7 years old).
  • 20:00 - Concert by the band “Skvirl’Boizz”, Līgatne town open-air stage. Admission 7 EUR (free admission for children up to 7 years old).
  • 21:00 - Concert by the band “100. debija”, Līgatne town open-air stage. Admission 7 EUR (free admission for children up to 7 years old).
  • 23:00 - Dj Zigy, Līgatne town open-air stage. Admission 7 EUR (free admission for children up to 7 years old).

Concerts and Artists

In the evening concert section, from 19:00, a concert by the “Sigulda” wind orchestra will be heard on the Līgatne town open-air stage. After that, the band “Skvirl’Boizz” and the band “100. debija” will perform. The musical finale of the festival will be provided by Dj Zigy, who will play from 23:00. These evening concerts have an admission fee of 7 EUR, while admission is free for children up to 7 years old.

The festival activities will mainly take place at the Līgatne town open-air stage and in its surroundings. Separate events are also planned at and near Līgatne Centre Lake, as well as in the square by Līgatne Culture House. Activities for families and children, a pony ride, barrel organ music, painting the Swan House together with an artist, guided tours, and a craft and home-producer market are planned throughout the day. At Līgatne Culture House, visitors can attend the exhibition “An Incredible Meeting. Kārlis Rozens and Arnolds Pankoks Meet in Līgatne”. The daytime program is free of charge, while admission to the evening concerts from 19:00 is 7 EUR (free admission for children up to 7 years old).
