Vecrīga Festival “Atvasara” at Dome Square on September 19: Programme and Event Times
On September 19, 2026, from 10:00 to 23:00, the free “Vecrīga Festival. Atvasara” will take place at Dome Square and in the streets of Vecrīga. The daytime programme is intended both for families with children and concertgoers.
Festival Programme
From 10:00 to 15:00, the main focus will be on families. Performers will include the children’s ensemble “Dzeguzīte”, the group “Bitīt’ Matos” together with the folk dance ensemble “Dzīpars”, a LE++ contemporary dance performance and children’s DJ Guca.
Children will be able to enjoy bubble shows, creative workshops, games, glitter makeovers, inflatable attractions, face painting and a baby zone. Visitors will also be able to learn about the work of the Emergency Medical Service, firefighters, the Riga Municipal Police and the State Police.
Concerts at Dome Square
In the afternoon and evening, the groups “Apvedceļš”, Olga Rajecka, BŪŪ, ODS and MUUD will perform. “Bermudu Divstūris” will take the stage at the end of the evening, while DJs will provide the music between concerts.
