From Classical Music to Pop Music for Grades 1–6: Vivaldi’s Four Seasons – Jūrmala, October 29, 2026

The concert “From Classical Music to Pop Music for Grades 1–6: Vivaldi’s Four Seasons” invites audiences to discover Antonio Vivaldi’s composition cycle “The Four Seasons.” The event will take place on October 29, 2026, in the Small Hall of Dzintari Concert Hall in Jūrmala. The concert begins at 12:00. The programme is designed for students in Grades 1–6. In Vivaldi’s music, listeners will hear the songs of spring birds, a summer thunderstorm, the rustling of autumn leaves and the tranquillity of winter. Each composition in the cycle reveals the changing seasons in a musical story. The Liepāja Symphony Orchestra will perform at the concert. Reinis Lapa will be the conductor. Ģirts Šolis and Rihards Zelezņevs will also take part in the programme. Actor-laboratory assistants will complement the music with a visual and experimental design. This approach will allow young listeners to experience how classical music becomes an exciting event. The concert lasts one hour.
