Thirty Seconds to Mars Presents A Beautiful Lie vs. This Is War – Xiaomi Arēna, May 21, 2027
American rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars will return to Riga in spring 2027. The “A Beautiful Lie vs This Is War” concert will be dedicated to two significant albums in the band’s career. The programme will feature songs that have become alternative rock classics of the 2000s. “A Beautiful Lie” was released in 2005 and includes the songs “The Kill” and “From Yesterday”. The album “This Is War” followed in 2009, expanding the band’s sound with elements of electronic music, broader arrangements and choral vocals. The songs “Kings and Queens”, “This Is War” and “Closer to the Edge” are also associated with this album. The band’s creative core consists of brothers Jared Leto and Shannon Leto. Thirty Seconds to Mars first performed in Riga in 2011 during the “This Is War” tour. The band’s concerts are known for their visual production, energetic stage performance and close connection with the audience. This will be an opportunity to hear widely recognised songs from both albums in one evening. The concert will appeal to alternative rock fans and listeners who want to experience the band’s return to the Latvian capital.
