Linda Leen: The Third Wave of New Music – Hanzas Perons, Riga, October 17, 2026

On October 17, 2026, Linda Leen’s new music concert “The Third Wave” will take place at Hanzas Perons in Riga. It will be the culmination of the WAVES mini-album trilogy and concert series. With the release of the third and final part of WAVES, the artist’s autobiographical musical novel will take its complete form. For the first time, the concert programme will bring together all three WAVES. The new music will be performed alongside the two previously released parts of the trilogy. The programme includes the songs “Total Affection”, “Hold Me Close” and “Sugar Crash”. Linda Leen’s familiar compositions “Magnētiskā vētra”, “Blue Monday” and “Uzar mani kā zemi” will also be performed. Linda Leen will be joined on stage by guitarists Miķelis Putniņš and Rihards Lībietis, bassist Kristians Priekulis and percussionist Rūdolfs Daņiļēvičs. A special WAVES stage design has been created for the concert, featuring a light installation with the musicians at its centre. Linda Leen’s book “Introversijas” will be available for purchase at the venue. After the concert, visitors will be invited to meet the artist, get an autograph and take photographs. This evening will be ideal for listeners who want to experience the trilogy as a unified concert story and enjoy the breadth of Linda Leen’s repertoire.

What to expect at the event

“The Third Wave” concludes the WAVES trilogy, whose first part is dominated by an introspective mood, while the second features influences of lightness, warmth and soul music. In the final concert programme, the new songs will be performed together with the trilogy’s previously released recordings for the first time. The stage light installation was created in collaboration with Latvian National Theatre lighting artist Oskars Pauliņš and construction technologist Oskars Plataiskalns.
