On August 21, 2027, at 7:00 p.m., IGO’s 65th anniversary concert will take place in the Great Hall of Dzintari Concert Hall in Jūrmala. The programme will feature the singer’s best-loved songs and favourites among listeners. IGO is Rodrigo Fomins, one of the most distinctive voices in Latvian pop and rock music. Throughout his creative career, he has performed with the bands “CORPUS”, “LĪVI”, “Liepājas kvartets”, “REMIX” and the project “RIGA”. The concert will offer an opportunity to hear songs from the solo artist’s extensive repertoire. Among the compositions eagerly anticipated by listeners are “Meitenei kafejnīcā”, “Zīlīti”, “Bet dzīvē viss ir savādāk” and “Dzeltenās kurpes”. The programme also includes the songs “Komunālais blūzs”, “Cerību laiks”, “Savādā pasaule” and “Laika dziesmiņa”. Works for IGO’s voice have been created by Raimonds Pauls, Uldis Marhilevičs, Ēriks Ķiģelis, Zigmars Liepiņš, Mārtiņš Brauns, Jānis Lūsēns and other composers. IGO himself has also written some of the repertoire. The singer will be accompanied on stage by a backing band. The concert will be suitable for fans of Latvian popular music, rock music and IGO’s creative work.
